Dear friend,

I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit (3 John 1:2).

& I mean that in every way possible

I partner with ministries to develop strategies and build teams that advance with ease and joy.

Marketing alone isn’t enough to advance the Kingdom. True transformation requires alignment between vision, strategy, and culture. While our ministries are fueled by a strong spirit, the body needs intentional development.

Some need clarity to write the vision, others the infrastructure to make it plain, and most, the hands and feet to carry it out. Wherever we find ourselves, we have the privilege of serving for, and alongside, a bunch of wonderfully peculiar people.

Even in service of our shared mission, differences in opinion, approach, or personality naturally arise. What should fuel innovation often leads to separation, avoidance, or resistance to change.

As a consultant, I integrate tactics and facilitate workshops that equip ministry teams to bring their vision to life in a holistic and sustainable way — strengthening their foundations to serve with lasting impact.

Each aspect of my lived experience has shaped my perspective — from being a PK to my former side hustle as a brand designer. What anchors my approach is my career in Human Resources, rooted in the private sector and enriched by public sector expertise. I draw on these experiences and skills to support organizations dedicated to serving the common good.

  • "Working with you was a gift. Your unique qualities, Amber, make you truly magical. Your ability to hold space while moving work forward is not just interesting, it's inspiring. Your fearless empathy, compassion, and ability to get to the root that helps others feel heard and find pathways is a rare and invaluable skill. The joy you bring to any space is a gift. I am so thankful to learn from you and be in your presence. This team and the world are better because of you."

  • "It was a pleasure working with you, if it weren't for you, our ministry would not have the reputation it has, thank you for compelling me to move the ministry forward!"

  • "I wanted to send a small appreciation for the tremendous support, guidance, and care you've provided this team over the past nine months. I am so grateful for your clear, pragmatic approach and all the time and effort you and your team put in. I know there's still a ways to go, but we are in such a stronger place as a result of your work and leadership. "

  • "Amber did an amazing job helping us focus our mission, values, goals, and actions through a very fluid and supportive strategic planning process. In addition to keeping us focused, she did not stifle discussion and allowed room for debate and new ideas. It was a fine line she walked so well. Please thank her for everything she has done!"

  • "Amber helped our two programs de silo and engage in true collaboration for the first time. She is extremely skilled in guiding groups so that objectives are met and there is full participation and buy-in from everyone involved."

    Team Leader

  • "Amber has tremendous facilitation skills which has helped our team accomplish a program charter.  She helped us clarify our program mission, work priorities, team roles and responsibilities, and group norms.  I see this as a gift for our budding program as we continue to grow and develop.  I very much value Amber’s ability to help us put relationship first by integrating fun team-building exercises at each of our sessions. And most importantly, she was able to be nimble and adapt to the section’s emerging needs or shifting interests – which is reflective of the nature of our work as well.  Thank you, Amber for all that you have done for our programs!"

    Team Leader

  • "We are really grateful for how she helped us think of an organized way of looking at our collective work. Her leadership in a collaboration space really inspired our staff to step outside our silos and think of new possibilities!"

    Team Leader

  • "We were all very grateful to have Amber as a facilitator for the day. The outcomes I communicated to Amber were to have staff feel appreciated and to do team building and both were accomplished. Amber did an excellent job facilitating the day and really went the extra mile. Her calm presence, ability to connect with authenticity, and her expertise and skills are such assets. It’s truly a pleasure working with her."

    Team Leader

  • "Thank you Amber. The report is very helpful and we will walk through the recommendations as a team. Your thoughtful facilitation and analysis helped us through this transition, and we will continue to use your framework as we do more work together as a team."

    Manager

  • "I just wanted to send you this quick note to thank you for the fantastic Workshop you did for our team this week. The team came out energized, motivated, and empowered with tons of ideas on how to build on our strengths to become a better team."

    Manager

  • "Talking about DEI can be intimidating and uncomfortable. Our two-day session with Amber included nearly 50 people from all levels of our organization, many of whom had never met in person before and some of whom had never had contact with one another before. Despite these challenges, Amber was able to achieve 100% enthusiastic participation and engagement from our group. We all left feeling that we had learned a lot and that we had concrete steps to move forward."

Be a good steward of your life.

The body can only be as healthy as its members. We love to say, “if you can use anything Lord, you can use me,” but can He really? I create content dedicated to those of us who tend to help everyone but ourselves. I may have mastered my skills, but I’m still learning to master myself. Join me on the journey through my blog!

Steward your life.

Advance the Kingdom.

My childhood church was “dedicated to developing balanced people of God who will advance the Kingdom of God.”  After reciting that every Sunday for 23 years, it appears to have become my personal mission as well.

I pray that this website serves as a valuable resource for you, empowering you to care for yourself while experiencing joy and ease in advancing the Kingdom of God.
